The Hamden Miners Collected Third Tie of the Season Against the Waterbury Silverbacks By a Score of 1-1

Pierce Cowles of the Waterbury Silverbacks singled in the fifth, scoring the game’s first run. Later, Darren Gasparri grounded into a fielder's choice, which helped Hamden tie the game at one in the bottom of the fifth.

Devon Schmitt started on the hill for the Miners. The starter gave up zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking three. Gasparri had the lone run batted in for the Miners. Ryan Balzano, Nico DiGioia, Mike Desroches and Brian Hersh each collected one hit for Hamden in the tie.

Hamden will look to get back into the win column on 6/9 against the Western Mass Pioneers.
