Pitching Impressive As Hamden Miners Beat Southington Black Knights

Both teams were strong on the mound on Tuesday, but the Hamden Miners defeated the Black Knights 2-0. Sawyer DiMatteo started the game for Hamden, earning the win, and recorded 21 outs. The pitcher gave up two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking none. His superb line granted the miners the win.
Hamden got on the board in the first inning after Devon McMorris singled, scoring one run.
