Hamden Boasts Five All Star Representatives for 2026 Campaign

The Miners are sending four first time All-Stars and one returning All-Star to represent the CCBL halfway through the 2026 campaign. The cluster of ballplayers showcases three upperclassmen and two freshmen.
Junior outfielder from Cheshire, CT, Kyle Cyr has been named to his first CCBL All-Star team after serving as the beat of the Miners lineup in the team’s first half of the season.
Freshman Rocco DeMaio earns his first CCBL All-Star appearance in his first year in the league. DeMaio has been a consistent piece in Hamden’s season thus far in his initial impression.
Right-handed starter Dylan Ellison has been named to his second consecutive All-Star appearance, solidifying himself as one of the CCBL’s best starting pitchers. The Keene State College product adds to his CCBL resume with another accolade.
Junior pitcher Jack Lewis earned his first All-Star appearance after delivering as one of Hamden’s most consistent pieces in their pitching staff.
Devon McMorris is the fifth All-Star that Hamden sports. Transitioning to the team’s designated hitter for the 2026 season, the redshirt freshman has taken quite the stride in his first year of action as the team’s leadoff hitter.
